Mr. Speyer is one of the leading owners, developers, operators and managers of first-class real estate in the world. Mr. Speyer engaged the audience in a timely discussion of his views on the current global macro economy. The Association of Legal Administrators Hosts Sixth Annual Educational Symposium and Exposition

The Association of Legal Administrators, New York City Chapter (ALA) will host the 6th Annual Educational Symposium and Exposition at the Westin New York at Times Square on Wednesday, November 10, 2011. This day-long event will allow members to enhance skills and knowledge for legal management in a broad spectrum of topics aimed at small, mid-size and large firm administrators. The Berman Group serves as the chapter manager for the New York City Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.

Silverstein Properties Hosts The New Downtown Conference

Silverstein Properties, in partnership with New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, hosted The New Downtown Conference on Tuesday, June 14. The event was held at the new marketing center at 7 World Trade Center, and was headlined by Larry Silverstein, President and CEO of Silverstein Properties, and James P. Stuckey, divisional dean of NYU Schack. Speakers shed light on the current state of development of the World Trade Center site, and highlighted the downtown revitalization that has occurred during the past 10 years.

GNYCUC’s 2011 Chairman’s Reception Honors NYC’s Top Projects

The Greater New York Construction User Council hosted its annual Chairman’s Reception at the Steelcase rooftop at 4 Columbus Circle. Each year, the event honors New York City’s top construction projects, and this year, projects such as the Setai Fifth Avenue Hotel, Liberty Luxe and Liberty Green and Brooklyn Bridge Park received recognition. Deputy Mayor Stephen Goldsmith was also honored as the one outstanding individual in the industry. The Berman Group serves as GNYCUC’s Executive Director.

The Berman Group and 556 West 22nd Street Initiate Step Into Chelsea Campaign

The Berman Group has partnered with Murray Hill Properties, the Albanese Organization and BD Equities to produce the Step Into Chelsea campaign for 556 West 22nd Street, and a special reception was held on June 2nd to commence the campaign. Over 200 people attended the event, which took place on the rooftop deck of 556 West 22nd. The marketing campaign highlights 556 West 22nd Street’s prime location in the West Chelsea neighborhood and showcased the three-story location as a premier retail and office space.
